Mergers very desirable, terms are unacceptable

First off: great that mergers are finely coming.

However, as a kabam player, i haven't been asked my opinion on how to best proceed. This is a sign that you have missed out on a lot of players' great input.

You have to compensate much better for those that have spent time and money on two merging realms.

A great way to solve this problem, is to turn both cities into special inventory items. And start the target realm with an empty city full of rss. And inventory.

    For example:

I have 15 garrisons in one target realm, and 25 in the other. In total there are 40 garrisons. 10 of level 15, 20 of level 19 and 10 of level 20.

Then in the merged realms inventory i should have 40 of that level buildings waiting for me in the form of instant build-buttons. I then click on the empty plot, and the option to instantly erect my level 20 garrisons is there. Click and done.

About dragon armor. This was usually accumulated over a long period of time and by spending tons of resources and troops. Disregarding one cities dragon armor is inexcusable. Simply transfer all dragon armor to the target realm. Or offer to buy back the armor in the form of the same type dragon armor chests in the target inventory or ruby compensation.

Then about buffs. Our alliance uses banks. And those banks are protected for many months still. To offer a two day protection is by far proper compensation. Protection bubbles should simply move along with the player. If the player is in more target realms, simply add the time remaining of both realms. This was already paid for, therefore can't be taken away with a clear conscience.

And then on the research. Research takes many months in total to complete. Disregarding it is very unsettling.
Research should be handled better. Preferably the highest numbers for both cities combined. Lvl 8 dragonry and lvl 10 alloys in realm 1, lvl 10 dragonry and lvl 9 alloys in realm two, means lvl 10 dragonry and lvl 10 alloys in the target merged realm

Remember that the goal of realm mergers is to keep long time spenders from quitting out of boredom. They have undoubtedly started mirror realms, and therefore the odds that they are in both similar realms targeted for a merge is quite considerable. Ignoring our spendings and doing these mergers hastily, will result in great grief.

Please remeber that there are a lot of players availablr that have thought about how to tackle these mergers for far longer than you might think.

Don't disregard us. We can help.

No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No! No!

I sacrificed being able to read the announcements and went to a foreign realm specifically to escape the English realms with ruby players stealing all the tournaments. It was a good move. I now kick **** in the Dragon Battlegrounds (as long as I say under 1900 points; after that, there's a fricken FIVE NPC players with three L29 dragons each) and do okay in tournaments--even managing to take 2nd in one (which was a first).

In other words, I specifically chose a realm with a lower population. Why the hell would I want a merge? All merges do is increase the population, which, in fact, I want the opposite?

I quit the Web Version of Dragons of Atlantis and switched to Heirs of the Dragon to escape the realm merges. If you fudge up Heirs of the Dragon as well, then I'll have no place to go. I'll quit. KEEP THOSE FRIGGIN MERGERS AWAY FROM MY REALM!!!!!!

P.S. If Kabam creates a non-ruby realm where it would be impossible to buy/spend rubies, then high population won't matter so much as it would be 100% fair competition. However, as the game is now, I prefer my realms population to remain as LOW as possible.

This will happen to realms that are cluttered with inactives. It will always be similar realms, so never a non english realm with an english one.

              multiple accounts

I have 2 accounts. They are each in 5 realms (same realms). Will I be able to pick a realm for each account? I.e. Ziggy is in realm hermocrates, tagliomenta, lotus, atlas and hyperboria. My zaggy account is in the same realms. I'm hoping ziggy can pick one realm and zaggy another realm. Is that how this will work?

Also, I just bought a lot of dragon eggs while they were on sale. I understand we will get dragon food for them but that doesn't seem adequate compensation for all the rubies I spent just about 2 weeks ago. How will that be handled?

                some questions

The Realm Merge needs to happen: too many realms are dying; a shake-up is definitely a good idea. I have some questions about the detail of the process, which I've not been able to find answers to in the guide. I'd be grateful if Kabam could answer these questions here, and/or update the merge guide appropriately. Thanks.

Troop levels: I have cities in 2 different realms, and the troops are not the same levels. Which level will the merged troops be? The main city level, or the other city's level, if that's higher? (e.g., SSD at 7 in main city, at 9 in other city)

Inactives will not be transferred to the new realm: how is it decided that a player/city is inactive, precisely? (e.g., x months since last log-on?)

Will unclaimed Quest Rewards be transferred? From the main city? From other cities?

Armour from the other cities, and generals over the 200 limit will not be transferred. But will armor and generals in the inventory (those bought or won, but not yet claimed) be transferred?

After the realm merges complete, will we still be able to create new cities on different realms?

One of my main concerns with the realm merge is my alliance, I have an active ally that I don't want split up because of a merge. We have become good friends and became what feels like a family

Dude, having multiple accounts (aka two or more accounts in one realm) is against Kabam's Terms of Service. You're taking a lot of risk by breaking the rules and announcing that you broke the rules in a public forum. You could get banned.

You may want to reread the agreement. It is not against the rules to have a second account. Only a problem if you pretend you are kabam or falsify info. Kabam knows I have 2 accounts. They are both legit.

                            Realm mergers are bad.

Realm mergers mean more Ruby Players.
More Ruby Players mean more people buying their way through Tournaments.
More Ruby Players winning Tournaments, means less Non-Ruby Players winning Tournaments and game getting more stupid.

More Ruby Players mean more players to harass Non-Ruby Players.
More Ruby Players harassing more Non-Ruby Players mean more players quitting, which kinda defeats the purpose of a realm merge. I'm all for less population. However, Non-Ruby Players don't win Tournaments; thus, less Non-Ruby Players won't improving my chances of getting in the top three.

How about Kabam invent a realm where buying/spending rubies is locked and all players are forced to be Non-Ruby players? That will be awesome!

                              cities merge not realms only

I think its better if kabam allow to us to merge all our cities In 1 new brand realm .
so kabam can open some new brand realms .
Then allow to us to move our main city (1 time only ) . Then merge all our other cities in that main city .
& this must be for all players in all servers
