  • DoA Heirs 4.0

I was in line in a DoA chat group during maintenance last night, someone ask, "I wonder if they will add any of the suggestions made." My response to this was, "It is Kabam, we are not goin to get what we ask for, just what makes them money." It was in somewhat of a joking sense, but after being with Kabam gaming for several years, I knew this was the most likely thing to happen. Sure the update seemed decent, it hadn't been fully implemented as soon as server had been brought back up, but we had comp chest for dragons in invo upon return. The chest itself was quite annoying. Receiving 250+ 5k woods...This was insane, why not do it with a higher amount, but this didn't matter. This only made me worry that our dragons was goin to be reset, this wasn't the case though after waiting till the full update was applied. After updating and logging in, I notice one thing right off, it loads way slower now. Took several attempts to get WD keep to even load, then once it did it would freeze up on the clouds intro. Well, this is the least of the problems. Being only a few upgrades away on my WD to start training FT, I find out I cant upgrade my dragon normally anymore. Instead we have to feed it, which may be quicker, if you have a hefty allowance to throw away of over $100 per dragon. Which most do not, and those who do, feel they are being ripped off in most cases. The thing that got me into Kabam, was FREE TO PLAY. With the option to pay for extras if you wanted, yeah people who want to throw money to Kabam are entitled to obtaining things earlier, and winning more tournaments, growing faster and what not. When it comes to hindering the growth of us who were drawn to your games cause they were free, that pushes a little too far. Sure, all of Kabam will probably ignore this, as its not in the interest of profit on their part. This has just put paying members a far leap, hop, skip, and a rocket shuttle to Jupiter over more then half of your players. I would estimate, no more then 20% of members are your major funding, now there is no proof of this it is just a estimate of what I feel. If you take into account each server has around 10-20 players buying 10 million power within the first month of a server, then slowing down to to a few hundred thousand here and there till prices of troops becomes reasonable. This update, if not altered very quickly is going to cause player loss. As I can not speak for everyone but this will make paying players have a huge advantage, and acess to elite troop from each dragons keeps weeks maybe months before anyone else, if they are willing to dish out the cash for the egg and the meats to level, along with armour. This will also most likely set back your profits when new dragons are released in a newer realm. This will also give less encouragement to your big spenders to hop to a new server when theirs is slowing down, or they get board, or zeroed cause they bought troops and never bothered to learn how to use em. I am sure I am not the only one to feel this way. But if changes are not made soon, I will be leaving Kabam gaming for good. This doesn't come from a point of I can't afford to buy the new stuff, this comes from a point, I could farm all I needed, besides CGs, which are still obtainable without paying every now and again. Leaving me to just waiting till troops boxes became a reasonable price for what you obtain. 55 rubies for a most likely outcome of 1000 or less not elites isnt worth it, I wouldnt even be tempted to purchase that for for 1 ruby in most cases. Its understandable, you "Kabam" are in this for the money, but there comes a point when players opinion should weigh in on if somethings profitable, if not, that short lived profit will turn into a major loss. Anyone who reads this and either agrees or disagrees, if you were to just leave a reply of "I agree" or "I disagree", it would help to get Kabams attention. I want them to see how players weigh in on this option, and its not just a one person thing. Thank you all who take the time to read this, I would guess it'll be a week or more till anyone from Kabam decides to weigh in on this and tell us we are wrong or nothing will change, if they even take the time. Just incase they do, lets make it known how many people feel about 4.0. DoA Heirs, was a nearly perfect game, till today.

I have to say I agree with most all of what you are saying. I already posted my long calculated rant in another post so I wont bother repeating it. Sadly, unless a way to farm for mutton becomes available, im not gonna even bother with buying any new dragons or their eggs as they are released. I agree with you in that this new change will just hinder their profits, however I doubt it will take long. Profits spent on eggs/dragon armor will likely fall quickly, and I wouldn't be surprised to see people leave unless stuff is fixed.

totally agree, if u could lv up dragon normally up to lv 20 then have to feed then no complaints about it from me but what would take 2-3 days to lv a dragon from egg to 19 for free will take months to do unless u spend money now. This game has become basicly unplayable on my phone way to much lag have to wait a min for what ever u click on to load and i too experience the freezing and reloading problem, even on my tablet it have slowed down a lot and this is the only game that makes it run hot, i didn't notice about the food this morning and i got the fire dragon egg half price would have never did it if i knew about the food cause by the time i get it to lv 10 the crests to unlock it will be out lol. there is no way i would start a new game now, this game is going to the toilet fast now to do anything u just about have to pay for it. Just glad all my other dragons were at least lv 19 when this started. their next big idea will be to charge u a rubie to send an attack out lol.

I am elderstatesman of the realm Dionysus we are all up in arms with the constant greed of the game masters & refuse to buy anymore rubies. I knewthat when they did the recent maintenance they were coming up with another way to dig into our pockets. I also play the PC version & all these things the mobile platform charges us for are found in the wilds for free on the PC platform. I have long said these tactics make an unfair advantage between the have & have nots or the working class
