I have unlocked all the troops.. but what do we do with the excess amulets that we pick up from farming. I have accumulated over 100 of them so far. And the armoury has only been in the game for half n hour or so. Maybe once we have unlocked the troops stop the amulets from dropping when we're farming for the stones? Unless, we use these same amulets for the other troops when they release in the game? which Id doubt youll do. Otherwise why let us accumulate all these amulets when we cant use them once we've unlocked the troops that required it?

      stones limited ?

Hey why did they put a 6 day timer on the upgrades when they limit the number of stones u can get? I played for about 2 hr collecting stone and got my battle dragons to lv2 and about a 3rd of the way to level 3 now i cant get anymore stone, must have hit about 50 lv 4 and 5 camps and not a single stone since, before i was getting one almost every camp that was full of troops now nothing. Does anyone know how many stones it lets u collect a day before it stops letting u get any, I personally think its stupid they put a limit on it cause they make u waste ur troops for nothing then. and youll have to wait months to collect enough stones to level ur troops up to higher levels, unless u wait till u get a thousand stones before u attempt to beat the 6 day timer.

Yes I agree. The limit is stupid. It is 15 Mist Mauve stones and 15 Sun Glow stones. In the armory click on the stone where it has the little i and it will tell you how many youre allowed to obtain.

There is a bug in the lv when you reinforce someone or is reinforced by someone else. The displayed lv showing is your lv not the reinforcers. I do not know if that will have an influnce on the battles or not, but I have reported it as a bug.

Troop upgrading is actually Ok, considering the other stunts Kabam has pulled to force players into buying. I agree that the limits are stupid, but leveling up your troops is a helpful side mission other than building, researching, training, and building again. It lets me stay on longer farming without getting bored.

When u reinforce another player ur troops take on any buffs that city has active including research lvls and now troop lvl and assigned generals buffs r also taken on by rein.

I like the idea of this troop upgrade system except the fact that you can only get a certain amount of stones and the 6 day timer I have been trying like crazy to upgrade my troops and spend time and money on this and when I hit the upgrade button it always lands on the 2 4 or 6 and I get nowhere with the upgrades and when I do get close the 6 day timer resets and I have to start all over but for the guys who spend a lot of money they have their troops all maxed out.

Guys I just wanted to ask about the 5* general, that boosts battle dragon stats. Can u tell me specifically what attack, defense nd life troops this general boosts?

It must simply be accepted that those "who spend a lot of money" will be above those who do not spend. In actuality, DoA does a much better job of giving away free stuff and allowing farming than most other Kabam games, and I commend them for that. Comparing this to Hobbits is like night and day. You will almost NEVER get anything for free in Hobbits.

Anyway, back on topic. I wouldn't even be concerned about the six day timer. After about level 2 or 3 you don't have a chance of getting a level without landing on the "level up" jackpot slot on the wheel. Just shoot for that and accept that unless you get lucky are aren't going to be leveling. It is a very typical mechanic.

All in all, I like what this game is doing differently than other games and even other Kabam games. This feature included, they are making it a better game.

Have a look in playstore/itunes for an app called dragons of Atlantis pocket guide(yes its free). Its made by the doa uni guys n has averages of stone amounts needed for each troop lvl. Dont bother trying to lvl ur troops until uv saved up enough stones or ur never gunna get anywhere.

                          Upgrading troops is awesome!

However, Kabam missed a few troops.
                          Conscript
                          Porter
                          Spy
                          Halberdier
                          Armored Transport
And all the Event Only Troops.

If we could upgrade EVERY troop, then that would so rock. Please, Kabam?

Edit: Just checked an older realm and noticed a Golden Spark Stone in the Mystery Shop and upgrades for the Lightning Cannon. Awesome! This is exactly what I want to see.

Conscripts: Just fluff. NEVER use them in PvP, so upgrading would be pointless.
Porter: What, a load upgrade? No.
Spy: Same as Conscripts. Plus, have you noticed a pattern in upgrading? Level 15 is ~1.5* the original stats. 3000 speed when un-upgraded is about 4600 speed at level 15... OP.
Halberdier: Who even trains these things?!
AT: Well... fine. A load upgrade would be nice; 7500 + load would be good. But besides that... no.

As for Event Only troops, there're 3 types of Event Only upgrade stones: Golden Spark, Emerald Moss and Bronze Blazed. That's easily 6 more troop types! Venge Wyrm and Lightning Cannon are upgradable with Golden Spark, not sure what else the other two would upgrade. I'd assume that Emerald Moss would be Storm Drakes and Sand Striders; Bronze Blazed being Lava Jaws and Cavaliers?

Conscript: In realms that have dragon armor available only by defeating the level 10 Grodz camp, conscripts are the attack troop of choice. Also, some players train massive numbers of conscripts for troop training tournaments -- they might want to invest even more in them (which is somewhat useful for city defense, if you happen to have a few hundred thousand lying around and an attacker uses speed troops).

Spy: When I spy level 10 Anthropus camps, I can't get better than an average loss of 600 spies per (full) camp visit. Some option for upgrading spies would be useful, even if it does not increase the march speed.

AT: I'd love a march speed upgrade option, other than using my one Solerian general assignment slot for that. In the Web version of the game we could use the marketplace to move resources around, and (IIRC) gold moved instantly. But in Heirs the moving of resources around in an alliance can get painfully slow.

Porter, Halberdier: Not worthwhile, and probably much more code complexity (and extra runtime complexity) than it's worth. Not that the other troop types above would be worth the complexity (not to mention the development effort and new bugs introduced) -- I have no idea what Kabam's code base is like.
