GLITCH: Every day, entry into the Battle ground requires following the tutorial, with guided (mandatory) actions. The entry into the first round during the tutorial automatically selects the opponent, as the tutorial mode will not allow a different selection. This is in a real battle, and invariably, the tutorial picks an opponent that is way-above-my-weight-class (see below). The only way to avoid the choice is to hard-exit the app, restart game and re-enter the battleground. The same 5 opponents appear, however I can make my own selection.
COMPLAINT: The selection of opponents is designed to break any win streaks. I cannot punch above my weight against people twice my size. I wouldn't start a fight like that in real life and I wouldn't do so in the game. My 5-opponents always include the top powered player in my realm (170M power) or my SISTER (120M power), who is the #2 player in the realm. Both have 3 dragons at level 20+ and 109K battle ground power where I have 52K (L18 ED & GD, L20 WD). In addition to one of these heavy weights, my rounds have also included a NPC - a PlayerXXXXXXX character with dragons in the Level 30-50 range (which if mutton were purchased, make those dragons as expensive as a new SUV) and power totals above several million. As these players XXXXXX never appear in the rankings (see below), i can only surmise they are NPCs. Both of these tactics are designed to prevent win streaks and point accumulation.
COMPLAINT: It costs rubies to enter the battlefield to view rankings; even if one has not yet completed the "free" battles, you can only view it before you enter your round, not after. So deciding whether it's worth rubies to have more battles, requires you spend rubies. The lack of visibility into the rankings during the battles and the obvious grab for ruby-purchases is unfair.
