Incomplete Help Guide From One Newbie to Another

    Hi guys,

I know I must not be the only person that is still trying to learn my way around. I'm going to do my best to get as much info as I can here to help out. If you have anything I'm missing please let me know and I'll do my best to confirm and add.

Server time: Please be advised that the server time is UTC+8

    Starting the Game:

This game has five classes to choose from that seem to scale in difficulty. I have been playing the Shen Nong class which is a fairly simple support/healer for the game, so please excuse if I miss anything from your class.

    The five classes are:

Elementalist (Formerly Starry) - High DPS mage. Widely considered one of the easiest to play.

Curist (Formerly Shen Nong) - Support/Healer. Also considered easy to play.

    Scholar (Formerly Gui Gu):

    Mohist:

    Acolyte (Formerly Tian Shu):

    Ranger (Formerly Dragonist):

Pre-level 40: This portion of the game goes very quickly. Just follow the quests you're given and spend a bit of time leveling up your gear.

Post-level 40: My best advice in the gap between level 40 and level 50 is to take some time walking around the different zones and talking to NPCs. Many of them have quests. I have included an incomplete list by area below.

Peach Blossom Village NPCS to talk to: Grandma Wang, The Mysterious Man, Da Huang (The Dog Outside the Village), Zhang Xiaohe, Poor Scholar

Mount Liubo: At this time I have found no quest givers in this area.

Kunlun: At this time I have found no quest givers in this area.

Yunzhong Shire: At this time I have found no quest givers in this area.

Seven-Saints Woods: At this time I have found no quest givers in this area.

Cyan Wood Village: At this time I have found no quest givers in this area.

Luoyang: Xuan You, Dancing Maid. There are a LOT here, and I missed the names for most of them.

    Royal Worship Platform: Xingtian

Level 50+: I'm currently level 49. I'll do my best to get info here soon.

Daily Quests: Daily Divination, Escort, Arena, Trial Dungeon, Hongmeng Gap, Luoyang Quests, Monster Slaying.
Phantom Quiz: At the moment, there are a lot of us trying to get more information on this. At the moment we know it starts at 12 AM UTC+8. It can be accessed in the clan tab, and must be started by the leader or vice.

Team: Remember to only use your summon scrolls in groups of 10. This will promise you an SR/SSR with every batch.

Pets: There are a wide variety of pets available in this game, and I've only unlocked a handful of them so far. They can be upgraded with beads, and taught new skills with skill books. Alternately, you can break down skill books to level up a pet's existing skills. Right now in game it seems as though the Black and White Impermanence, Zhujian, and 9-tailed fox are among the most popular pets to use.

    Clan:

    Currencies:

Merit: Gained in Demon Slayer quest loops. I mostly use this to get mats to upgrade my equipment.

Silver: You get this from silver boxes, apparatus hunt chests, and a few other areas in the world. I'll update once I stop being a dummy and remembering later in the day about updating this.

Pet Coin: At this time this one is a mystery to me.

Gold Leaf: So far I've really only gotten this through daily bonuses and the download bonus. I'm not too sure how to get more.

Clan Tribute: Do things with your clan! It's a great way to get to know the others you've teamed up with and you get benefits too.

Feat: Seems like this one is accessible only after level 50.

Arena Point: You get these from fighting in the arena in Luoyang.

Crystal Shard: Seems like this one is accessible only after level 50.

Companion Points: You can get these by going into the keepsakes area of the companion summoning screen in the lower right-hand corner. You get points by breaking down extra shards for companions. I suggest not breaking down the very rare ones.

Gold: I believe this one is accessible only by converting Jade into Gold. I might be wrong though.

    Jade: Premium currency.

    New Event:

Monster Tower! This event is solo-only and unlocks at level 35. You can find this quest in Luoyang from the NPC Jiguang. For those that haven't seen him before Jiguang is a centaur looking fellow if you go further toward the top of the screen from the match maker.

It seems you can challenge 5 times per day and can opt to "sweep" the floors after you have defeated them once.

Floor one- 1 Water Pet and 4 Piranhman (Drops: XP, companion point chest, 1 SR Box)

Floor two- 1 Golden Pet and 4 Mirage Monster (Drops: XP, companion point chest, 1 SR Box)

Floor three- 1 Earth Pet, 2 Earth Pet Baby, and 2 Healing Flower (Drops: XP, companion point chest, 1 SR Box)

Floor Four- 1 Wood Pet, 2 Wood Pet Brother, 1 Powerful Flower, and 1 Healing Flower (Drops: XP, companion point chest, 1 SR Box)

Floor Five- 1 Fire Pet, 2 Healing Flower, 2 Striped Tarantula (Drops: XP, companion point chest, 1 SR Box)
